I’ve even heard the term “minimony” from The Knot, which is a small wedding ceremony followed by a larger event at a different time. Smaller, shorter wedding days, offer an opportunity to focus on intimate interactions, luxurious details and can even incorporate the fast-developing virtual component for guests who can not travel.
The photography needed for a micro wedding can vary. It’s most common to have us photograph the ceremony, some group/family shots, and a couple’s portrait session afterwards; this may only take an hour or two. However, some couples prefer to have some “getting ready” photos before hand, and/or some shots of the “micro-reception” afterwards. No matter your plans, we are extremely flexible and willing to offer a budget-friendly package for smaller weddings!
